ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Mike Ellenbogen has been competing in chess tournaments for over 30 years, holding the US Chess Federation title of National Master.  As a chess instructor and coach at schools throughout Westchester and Fairfield counties, his students have won County, State and National championships.

 Mike continues to grow the Pelham chess program and is in his 18th year of teaching chess in the Pelham School District.  This is Mike's 8th year organizing the Pelham Chess Tournament, scheduled for early December.
